Originally from Reynosa, Mexico, Israel Valdez and his wife Ruth have been married for 23 years, and God Gave them three Daughters. Israel was a Pastor for 11 years at a “Disciples of Christ” Church in Reynosa México, while he was studying at “Rio Grande Bible Institute” in Edinburg, Texas. He graduated in 1996, and was ordained to ministry in 1998 by the “Disciples of Christ Church” in Mexico. In 2002, four years after graduation, He was invited to come to McMinnville Oregon to continue the ministry of Pastor Leonardo Calva, whom was returning to Ecuador as a Missionary. Right now he has been pastoring the Hispanic congregation of “Baker Creek Community Church”. Since 2003. Pastor Israel's passion is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, and see people giving their whole life to our God and Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
